Queen of Heart Yoga!
Sally brings Heart Yoga to you as a result of her own personal journey through the peaks and troughs of hormone imbalance. And she also has a wealth of professional knowledge to share with you on your journey.
She first came across yoga in 1993, when a neighbouring Iyengar Yoga Teacher insisted she try the discipline to overcome the stresses of divorce and a corporate career. Yoga, coupled with a passion for natural remedies, soon found Sally immersed in a Tisserand aromatherapy diploma.
After discovering the magic of essential oils and holistic massage, Sally was able to quit corporate life in 1998 and start a holistic health & training practice.
With every cloud…..
Eager to broaden her skills, Sally graduated from University of Westminster in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy, by which time Yoga had firmly weaved itself into life as a holistic consultant.
But, despite her achievements, crisis struck again! Having endured peri-menopause in her early-mid 40’s, she faced further disappointment in life during menopause.
So, at the age of 50, Sally decided to take herself on a life-changing journey. First stop Bali, for her initial yoga teacher training (YTT), then a solo tour of Australia! Recent study has notched up Sally’s total vinyasa YTT hours to 800 (& she’s still learning)!
To date, Sally has several years’ experience of teaching both group yoga classes and 1:1 private yoga sessions; alongside the running of holistic aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Restorative Yoga Massage & Nutritional Therapy consultancies.
…..the silver lining arises with the birth (and ongoing development) of Heart Yoga, and we really hope you can join us as we learn and grow together!
You are valued!
If you are still reading this, hopefully you can see that Heart Yoga’s very essence has Sally’s passion for the healing arts and heartfelt (often painful) experiences at its core; bringing something for everyone – whatever stage of Menopause you are facing – and even if you are one of the lucky ones to get away with little suffering – there is still a place for YOU!
As the Heart Yoga community expands, and our partnership becomes more interactive (watch out for our dedicated Facebook Group ,coming soon) YOUR VALUABLE INPUT will ensure we grow together.
